Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin Performs Live Score to ‘Deep Red’

Formed in the 1970s and reincarnated many times since, the Italian progressive rock band Goblin is best known for the haunting soundtracks they composed for classic Dario Argento and George Romero films. Now, there are two versions of Goblin and both are on tour. Following last year’s tour of “Suspiria,” founding member Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin is in the midst of a national tour performing the live score accompanying Argento’s 1975 horror film “Deep Red,” plus some new material and other spooky goodies from the band’s long, crazy history.
