This ongoing series of free concerts brings the soulful talents of Jimetta Rose to West Hollywood. The L.A. native draws on jazz, R&B and hip-hop to create a sound that penetrates the spiritual realm. Since her 2010 debut, “The Barber’s Daughter,” the singer has been a staple in local scenes intersecting jazz and beats. Her most recent album, “The Light Bearer,” came out three years ago and was produced by Leimert Park legend Georgia Anne Muldrow. Lately, she’s been playing with a choir of powerful women. Hopefully, that will find its way onto an album soon.
