Sudan Archives Record Release Show

Violinist, songwriter and producer Sudan Archives’ debut full-length album, “Athena” is out now on Stones Throw Records, following the success of her two EPs: 2017’s “Sudan Archives” and 2018’s “Sink.” While the EPs featured Sudan in collaboration with Stones Throw and Leaving Records’ Matthewdavid in the studio, for the full-length she invited a few others into her world, such as producers Washed Out, Rodaidh McDonald and Paul White, as well as jazz players, rappers and other special guests. Using her violin as both a melodic and percussive instrument, this unique artist’s calm and cool strength imbues her songs with laidback rebellion.
