Friday night there’s a downtown screening of Robert Altman’s much-treasured Los Angeles film noir “The Long Goodbye” based on Raymond Chandler’s novel of the same name. Look out for an uncredited Arnold Schwarzenegger cameo, and don’t be surprised if you find yourself quoting and re-quoting the main tough guy, Philip Marlowe (played by Elliott Gould) who insists: “Nothing says goodbye like a bullet … ”.

This is the second movie in the three film series “I Still Dream About California” organized by Annie Leibovitz to mark her current exhibit at the gallery.
