Dub Club has hosted their world-renowned reggae night every Wednesday for the last 19 (!) years, and it’s quite likely that Sister Nancy’s “Bam Bam” is the club’s most played song. Credited as the first female DJ in Jamaican dancehall, Sister Nancy and her 1982 track have been sampled more than 80 times across genres. In fact, it’s a strong contender for the most sampled reggae song of all time.
Catch this legendary lady, alongside special guests Mark Ernestus of Rhythm and Sound and Dub Club’s own Tom Chasteen and Boss Harmony.
