Twilight on the Pier Concert Series Kick-Off

A summertime favorite for the last 35 years, Twilight on the Pier returns for six consecutive Wednesdays of free concerts staged on the Santa Monica Pier. The kick-off show welcomes indie rock and electro pop by Rostam, formerly of Vampire Weekend, folksy R&B artist Dijon and self-appointed soul punk princesa Jen Awad. Aside from the music, there’s art to peruse, a new comedy stage, a wine and beer garden, food, games and “interactive activations,” which probably means fun places to take a selfie.
