L.A. Dance Festival

In its seventh year highlighting the best in contemporary dance, the Los Angeles Dance Festival brings together a variety of local, national and international dancers and choreographers that work for the stage and screen. With events spanning all of April, the “Main Stage” chunk of the festival running from April 12-14 focuses on leading companies in L.A.

Saturday’s line-up features Invertigo Dance Theatre, BrockusRED, Rosanna Gamson/World Wide, Kybele Dance Theatre, Backhausdance, Arrogant Elbow/Sarah Elgart and HD Theater, as well as pre-show performances by college and high school dancers and an L.A. Dance photography exhibit. Save the dates of April 26-28 for the “Fringe” portion of the festival that highlights budding choreographers.
